Noor! Design UK September Challenge

YAY!!  A new challenge is up at Noor! Design and it's
FALL COLORS!!

Eeeeeeeee I LOVE FALL!!!!  The only thing I hate about it is the weather that follows.  LOL!  I also love making fall cards but it seems to happen so fast that I only get a couple in.  One month of it is already over!  BOOOOO!  😀  So, I got me some new papers and boy have I been using them up!!   I loved them so much I think I've already made 4 cards!!!  Pion's new collection "Summer Falls Into Autumn" is absolutely gorgeous!!  Rich rich colors!!  So for my first one I really wanted to use this beautiful tag and just layer, layer layer.  That's another thing I love about these papers.  There's so many matching pieces that you can use, it's easy!!

I made this sweet lily using Whimy's Peony die and popped in some super cute 3mm round stamens.  They're quite stiff so they stand up very well all on their own.  I inked the center using Tim Holtz distress ink and then dotted the petals using a TH marker that was the same color.

And here I added a Scrapiniec "Lily of the Valley Decor" piece for some flourish.

So there you have my first card from the latest Pion collection and more to come so I hope you'll stay tuned!!

Have a wonderful Sunday!!
HUGS!

Tilda with Big Poppy

I'm just loving the latest Maja Design collection "Denim and Friends" but I have a feeling I say that about all their papers.  LOL!  So I thought I would use some more of them for this week's card.  I've used a Dutch Doobadoo template called "Shape Art A5 Fantasy" but it's out of stock HOWEVER, there are some great shapes left and they're even on SALE!!!

I made a bouquet with some WOC flowers and some Foamiran hand crafted flowers using Whimsy's peony die.   I added some white glass and vintage stamens for the center stamen and  I've used a ball and rose shaped wire base that I covered with blue Stickles.  I'm thinking of all the kinds of things you can do with these and my next experiment will be trying to cover them with some Foamiran.  They are sold out right now but soon to be back in stock.

This precious little Magnolia is "Tilda with Big Poppy" ... I hope there are some blue poppies in hindsight.  LOL!  Well in her world there is.  hee hee  I've colored her with my distress inks and had a blunder so had to cut out another piece, color and put over top the mistake.  No way was I colored her all over again!!  LOL!

Ooooooooo so this piece was fun.  It's from the Scrapiniec Fantasma Frame and Border pack.  I colored it first using a TH cube then covered it with Stardust glitter.  I'm pretty impressed at how it shows in the picture.  YAY!!  Also, luvin the mosses available in the store!!  I attached it using my hot glue gun but I have used regular glue dots in the past.

I'm off on a wine tour this weekend and I've been on count down for 2 years!  Well....I was suppose to go last year but it didn't work out so I said come rain or shine I'm going no matter what.  So far so good.  😁

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend!!

Hugs,

Distress inks used:  Peeled paint, Tumbled glass, Vintage photo, Faded jeans, Pumice stone, Peacock feathers, Antique linen, Tattered rose, Worn lipstick and Gathered twigs

Tea-Riffic

LDRS has put out some super cute images and paired them up with some awesome papers so here I've used some from the "Time for Tea" collection.  There's lots of shades of pinks but also some teal papers as well sooooo....yup!!!  You know what's coming soon!  LOL!!

I've added some Wycinanka wedding hearts after distressing the edges and then Fantasy's "Bunting with hearts" die over top.  Throw on a few Wild Orchid open roses and an "oh so pretty" Alexis button and voila!  One corner completed.  😀

I'm just loving these adorable and FUN LDRS Polkadoodles images and this one is
"Tea-Riffic".  Again, for this week, I've colored her using my distress inks.  I also added some glitter to the center of the flower, which is something I love doing when I use DI's vs. Copics.

Another flower bouquet using sisal, wax cord, a pearl blossom (biggest pink flower), more WOC flowers and another Fantasy die called "Bazaar" die.  I still can't believe there is stock left on this gorgeous thing!  I used some Foamiran to make a rolled flower then popped a pearl in the center to finish it off.

The Wycinanka "Lace Border" was distressed then I adhered some gorgeous pink Allyce lace.  OH it's so lush!  Added some bark hearts leaving them the way they came this time instead of painting them with gesso and popped on more WOC flowers.  As you will find, there is a great variety of flowers in the store and I think you might need one of every kind for your stash.  😇  DON'T YOU LOVE THE BRONZE TEACUP AND SPOON?!!!!  OMG!  I think I may have squealed when I saw them in real life.  LOL!  Super cute!

There you have it for today!

Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving the team your comments.  Enjoy your weekend when it gets here (soon - YAY!) and I hope you get some crafty time in!

Hugs!
