Best Wishes

Hellllloooooo!  I'm back again.  What a busy week for my blog but I think it's going to go back to slowing down a bit now but I'll be stockpiling colored images for future cards.  I know I've said it before but I LUUUUUV these card art shapes!!!  This one is Card Art A4 Swing Card 5 and I used such pretty papers from Studio Light No. 30.  Mostly greens and purples are in that pack so a very nice color combo to work with.  I've linked all items below if you're curious about anything.  I also really like the "Let's Party Balloons" die and wine glass dies.

I colored again with distress inks .... HOOKED!!!  Just like a fish lookin' at a sparkly lure.  LOL!!!  This inage is called Celebration Tilda.  She's so cute!!!

I added a pretty bunch of flowers here and a nice piece of Scrapiniec chipboard from the Spring Prodigy line.  If you haven't worked with these yet THEY ARE A MUST!!  GO NOW AND PLACE AN ORDER.  hee hee ... seriously you will love them!!

And another piece from Scrapiniec and in this package there are 6 pieces so super handy just to have in your stash.  There is quite a collection of words in the Noor! Design UK store as well - just sayin'!

It's really hard to not keep adding stuff to this but I felt if I added anymore my card would fall forward.  ha ha ha!!!  So I guess sometimes less is more.  Hmf - who woulda thought!

Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a look.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend and I hope you get some crafty time!!

Shabby Pink Charms

Sooooooooo this week I'm back with a double project - kinda.  I originally made the card to showcase Michele R's new SHABBY PINK CHARMS papers but then noticed you could really hardly see them.  DANG IT AGAIN!!  So I added this little gift box to sneak in a little something cute.

A bit ago Diana, from Magnolia-licious had a sale on Magnolia's.  I haven't bought any for sooooo long because of the exchange rate, that I bought 8 new stamps.  Woo hoo!  But at 40% off it went a long way.  This little cutie is called Lacy Tilda.  The fence and grass dies are also from Magnolia.

The butterflies and heart are elements from the new Shabby Pink Charms scrapbooking kit where you get 54 elements.  The sentiment tag and tickets (above pic) are from the Elements 2 kit.

See?  The tickets I just mentioned...cute!

Scrumptious embellishments - lol!

For some reason this card went together quickly for me.  OH WAIT...not to start it didn't!!  So I walked away and the next day I came back ...THEN it did.  I think I must have been tired the afternoon before and that never goes well for me.  LOL!

Thanks for stopping by!!!

Whimsy Stamps Sweetie

I loved the papers from "My Wedding" pad so much I thought I'd use them again this week.  They are so delicate and perfect for any shabby chic card.  Have you seen the new Scrapiniec chipboard pieces in the store yet?  OH MY OH MY!!  I LOVE them!!  These decorative borders came in 1 package from the "Royal" collection.  Aren't they gorgeous?!!!

This little gal is super sweet and appropriately named "Sweetie" from Whimsy Stamps.  I colored her using my distress inks, inspired by Tracy's colored image since I'm just learning still.

I'm loving these glass strawberries too.  Added a little gesso and oooooooo preeeettttyyyy!!  LOL!  I also looped a strand of pearl cascade over the whole card.

I added quite a variety of flowers and fancies as I call them.  A couple magnolia's, white pomegranates, cherry blossoms and a few more.  I really like the white beaded spray on the top and it comes already sprayed with glitter.  Pretty!!

Thanks for popping by and have a great weekend!!

Izzy's Stroll

I knew that once I started trying with distress inks again I'd want to color this little cute image up called "Izzy's  Stroll" and you can find her here at DisDigiStamps.

I used some gorgeous papers from Maja Design called Sofiero from Live and Love Crafts which is a limited edition collection.  They only come in 12 x 12 and soooooo pretty!!  OH and again I notice how I nicely covered them up for you.  I TRY!!!  LOL!

I used a few of my Magnolia dies as I feel they might think they are being neglected but they do seem timeless don't they?   I just love that swirl die and I think I have gotten my money's worth out of that one the most.  The clouds too.  :)

Oh and let's not forget the heart tag die!!  Wow I used that on LOTS of cards but I'm gonna keep on using it!  Add a little lace bow and BAM - awesome embellishment!  I also added gesso to a lot of my card to finish with a shabby chic feeling.

As always I added a bunch of flowers but what's a card without flowers.  WAIT - a man card.  LOL!!!  Ooooo that's coming up soon too right?!  Yeesh time to make more masculine cards.  I always cringe when I think of them but manage to pull it out all right.  LOL!

Must seem like I'm bombarding you but I had a few extra's to squish in between my guest spot at Noor! Design UK that I had been working on previously.

Thanks for popping by and enjoy the rest of your week!!!

Daffodil Tilda

Hello hello my friends!  I'm BACK as a guest for Noor! Design UK to share another yummy card with you!  I started out with a shape art stencil called "Flower with 4 Petals" and covered it up with these gorgeous "My Wedding" papers.  I didn't smother my card as I normally do so you can see a bit of them.  I have to admit it was a little hard but I managed.  hee hee

Unfortunately, I did cover a good portion of the Scrapiniec Doily Lace Border but you can still see it poking out both ends.  This chipboard is so delicate I just LOVE it!

This little cute Magnolia is called "Daffodil Tilda" and still in stock.  This week I braved my DISTRESS INKS!!!  GASP!!  YES!!  Some of you know I was trying to sell my markers a few years ago because I just could NOT get it!!  Crazy talk right?!!  I discovered it's definitely your paper and paintbrush.  Urgh - how much money I spent experimenting!!  If you didn't know already, you can actually buy the watercolor paper from Noor!Design UK also.  Tracy took the guesswork out for us!  YAY!!

I added my usual flowers and foilage and used the leaf set from Creative Expressions called "Lace Edged Leaves".  They cut so nicely I was impressed!

The Vintage Flourish Butterfly die has always been a favorite of mine so I double layered it, added a pink rose and some Stickles.  In fact, I added Stickles all over the card.

I love the meadow spray.  It's such a great filler and again looks so pretty with those leaves!!

Well that's it for me!!  Off to make another card for next weekend!
WOO HOO!!!

Enjoy yours and happy creating!

I Love Shaped Cards

FUN NEWS!!!!

Well for me anyway!  WOO HOO I am sooo excited to tell you I'm a guest designer for
and these are when I load up my cards and make 'em all frilly and girly!!!

Love all the items you can buy from this store and the selection is CRAAAAAA-ZAYY awesome and more coming in all the time.

I started this card with a card art template called Dutch Shape Art Ornate.  Is it more work?  Not much and it's sooooo worth it.  And hey, I love my square cards but I was so happy to play with some SHAPE!!  ALLLL the foilage pieces are from Noor!Design UK as well.  For some reason I realized I don't put a lot of leaves on my cards.  Well...why not?  RIGHT LET'S DO IT!

Now what do you think about those tassels?!  OMG THEY ARE SO CUTE!  And what about that gorgeous white die?  Ok maybe should have put some color behind there so you could see it better (oops) but see items below to get a better idea.

I even went and made my own flowers for this card!  I know call me crazy!  LOL!  Used die cut "Floral Flourishes Flower Die No. 5" and then just misted the dp with some water so they were softer, crumpled them up, let dry then layer them up!  Easy peasy!!

So for my first card I colored up one of my new Tilda's called Flirt Tilda with my Copics and I was so amazed with myself.  I ONLY USED 1 STAMPED IMAGE!!  This is the 2nd time.  I always use to have 2 more stamped images where I would practice the hair first then go over to my "good copy" and color.  LOL!  No wonder it took me so long to get an image finished.  I think my almost year off did me good!

If you are interested there is always a monthly challenge going on at the NoorDesign! UK blog and lots of inspiration.  Gorgeous cards to drool over and May's challenge is
MAY FLOWERS!  Easy right?!!!

Well thanks so much for stopping by and letting me share my news with you.  I'm happy to be back and creating.   Have a wonderful weekend!!
