LDRS "Honey" Saturated Canary

This week from the wonderful world of Little Darlings Rubber Stamps I wanted to showcase a Saturated Canary image called "Honey".  LDRS carries quite an amazing selection of Saturated Canary rubber and they match beautifully with the papers available from LDRS as well.  I've used some gorgeous pinks and greens from the  "Summer Sorbet" collection.

I just got the Tim Holtz "Picture Wheel" and want to use it on everything!  LOL!  I just love it!

Honey and her little bunny.  I just can't stop from saying how cute they are!!

I also used the "You" sentiment tag from the sentiment set called "Tag Alongs" also available at Little Darlings Rubber Stamps

Magnolia-licious & Wee Stamps Challenge

SPRING IS IN THE AIR

Annnnnnd on to our next wonderful challenge!  Don't you just love this time of year?  I DO!!  Even tho I don't do much for planting flowers or gardens I do love seeing other people's.  So thanks!!  LOL!

Let me introduce you to Tilda w/with big tulip pot.  Appropriate huh?  LOL!!  You can buy this little cutie from the Magnolia-licious online store.  Oh darnit!  She's out of stock right now but there are many other new selections to choose from.

I bought a nice order of ribbon from The Ribbon Girl not too long ago because I just LOVED the look that Becky Hetherington does with this row of ribbon.  Just gorgeous I think!  Such a perfect addition to these Magnolia cuties!

My first image I colored after taking Mindy Baxter's "Shades of Grey" course.  Loved coloring Tilda with the grey's!!  Gives it so much more dimension.  I am so happy that I learned how to color something white.  Ok maybe a contradiction there...LOL...but you KWIM.

And I luuuuv doing rolled flowers.  I really should do them more often.  They look so pretty!

As always Diana will be giving away a wonderful prize package.

I mentioned this in a previous post but I'll tell you again because it's such an easy way to win:

It Was A Rainy Night

HI!  I'm back with another creation using the cutest little image of Lisbeth called "It Was a Rainy Night" by MilkCoffee.  You can purchase her at Little Darlings Rubber Stamps including the sentiment stamp I used.  The set is called Friendship Sentiments and I love these sentiments because they are a bit smaller and don't take up tons of room on my card.

Oh and I also used the new papers called "Fruit Basket" and they're so cheery I just love using them. And bonus, they are double-sided. :)  The papers are also from Little Darlings Rubber Stamps and there is also a new set called "Summer Sorbet". Yummy!

I added some glitter to the cloud she's standing on, some flowers, painted my pink clothes pins white and used a couple of Doohickey's...VOILA!

Have a great and creative weekend!

Easter Blog Hop

YAY TO BLOG HOPS!!

You might be coming here from Chris Christensen's blog (great huh?!) and if so you're going in the right direction.  I'm sure by now you've seen some amazing stuff but keep on hopping as there is more wonderful Magnolia-licious stuff to see.

My post is picture heavy today so I hope you like it!

I used the cutest Magnolia images, "Edwin w/Daffodil" and "Tilda w/Big Tulip Pot" from the new Easter collection Magnolia-licious

My project for today is a wheel barrow I made from My Time Made Easy called "Barrow of Blooms".   Unfortunately, I made the wheelbarrow first and then realized how much bigger it was than my images so now I have to tell you a story about why it's bigger.

Every year Tilda and Edwin get the local Chocolate Factory to donate a very large chocolate Easter bunny for the annual Easter parade.  When the parade is over, everyone meets in the town square for a BBQ, games and contests.  The Easter hunt seems to be everyone's favorite.  Just before everyone leaves, all the kids get a chance to get a big bite of the chocolate Easter bunny.  So my big sized wheelbarrow is actually a float in the parade.  LOL!!

Front of wheelbarrow has a nice lacy bow on the front.

The back side of the wheelbarrow covered with the gorgeous Easter papers available online at Magnolia-licious

WANNA WIN?!!

I'd like to share an image from the new Easter Collection called Happy Easter Tilda so if you leave a comment you'll be entered to win this little cutie!  Anyone can enter from anywhere.

Don't forget about our current challenge at Magnolia-licious and Wee Stamps challenge blog of EASTER.  You still until next Monday to enter!

Magnolia-licious Easter/Spring Challenge

And here we are again for another delicious Magnolia-licious and Wee Stamps challenge!!  I'm sure there's a lot of this challenge going on but yes we are doing

EASTER/SPRING!!!

I opted for a bit of a non-traditional color with the peach and teal so I could use my gorgeous Magnolia papers.  LOL!  I must admit that now when I look it doesn`t look peachy.  Oh well!  I masked Tilda with Egg and Chicken with the Happy Easter background.  It's so funny but I use to never want to color backgrounds.  I was scared of messing up but now I want one for everything.  ha ha!!  Definitely takes longer to make the card tho.

I also make a couple of easter eggs with the BooBeePops honeycomb paper.  At first the jury was out on this product but after seeing it used a few different times and then trying it myself, it was actually fun and pretty easy.

I think I masked my image and stamped about 8 times before I got a good one.  Then I only had the one to color.  No pressure.  LOL!

The cute little bunny is super soft!!  This wooden die cut is from Southern Ridge Trading Co. and I painted it white then covered it with fuzzy flock.  I added half a pom pom for his little tail.

A closer look at my honeycomb Easter eggs.

This week at the Magnolia-licious online store you can get your pre-order going for the next Magnolia Ink magazine.  Oh how these are soooo full of gorgeous ideas!!

Also, check out the Magnolia-licious and Wee Stamps challenge blog for more inspiration as well.  The ladies have done amazing things!!

Magnolia Mini Monday - Tilda w/Wrapped Heart

WOO HOO!  Welcome to my first Magnolia Mini Monday!!  Each Monday Magnolia-licious and Wee Stamps challenge blog will be showcasing some inspirational MAGNOLIA MINI'S.

For my card today, I masked "mini Tilda w/Wrapped Heart" together with "Sunny Autumn Morning".   You would think with the mini's that you can't shade them too much but you can actually get away with using 3 colors.  At least that's what I used anyway.  I also used the Magnolia doohickey border die, one of my personal fav's.

The hand made flowers are from a Spellbinders die and since I only had pink mini clothes pins I painted them white.  Mini clothes pins for a mini image?  Appropriate?  I THINK SO!!  LOL!!
