Sarah and Winter Friends

Another set of Christmas cards that are already out and in the mail.  YAY!!  I feel so successful!!  LOL!!  I've used Maja Design papers from last year called "I Wish" and reason being is because there is still stock on some papers and the 6 x 6 pad.  Ooooo I love the weight of Maja's papers and they're so nice to work with!!

Here is Whimsy's "Winter Friends" and lots of pretties from the Noor shop.  There are some really neat new Scrapiniec pieces called "Nordic Sweater Borders" and each card got their own but dang I only took pics of two.  So at the bottom of these two cards are trees and large X and O's.  I've dabbed them with Tim Holtz ink cubes and then clear embossed them.  (Sorry for the dark pics!)

And here's Whimsy's "Sarah" adorned with some gorgeous WOC flowers from the shop.

How do you like the wreaths?  They are from Wycinanka called "Mr. & Mrs. Wreath".  I colored them with my Tim Holtz distress marker directly to the chipboard.  After they dried, I then embossed them with some clear embossing powder and topped them off with some red Stickles to the hearts.  After the Stickles dried I brushed them with some gesso...actually I brushed the whole card with gesso once complete.

So I feel like a card making maniac and I'm still not done!!  I think I've made close to 40 cards and only have one left for Christmas.  However, then I have more I'd like to make for New Year's.  LOL!  Well, we'll see how burnt out I am after all this as to how many actually get done.  hee hee

I hope you enjoyed the double posts today!!  I will have more for you next week!

Hugs!

One of a Kind Snowglobe Die

Good day!  Today I'm sharing a bunch of cards I made using Maja Design papers called "Joyous Winterdays" and although these all look the same, if you look closer, they're  not.  Welllll, because when you start doing more than 2 of something you quickly discover that you don't have the same supplies for all of them.  LOL!!  No problem and that's what I like about "stash".  😀  Oh but the border die on each card is the same.  YAY!!  LOL!  That's the new Joy die called "Ornamental Border" die.  Kind of appropriate for this time of year I think!

I was so excited to see the new die come out from Joy "One of a Kind Snowglobe" because I knew I would use it to make a multiple bunch of cards.  I know I'll be using it again as I see so many things that could fit in the globe other than the city.  It could even be used for birthday cards throughout the year.

Here is some foliage using Whimsy's "Christmas Branches".  This set is awesome because it's fully loaded with all kinds of leaf dies.  I don't think I'll ever need any more for the xmas season!  I've also used some cherry blossoms and pixie blooms.  Some flowers may not be in the store in the colors I've used but there is a huge selection so you can always find something you like!

Oh and did you notice the pearl trim I used on them?  I think I have 3 different kinds there.  Anything with pearls and you've got my attention!!  Pearls and glitter.  LOL!!

Thanks for dropping by and see you again soon!

Eulanda

Penguin Christmas Sweetheart

Back to loving the new Maja Design papers "Joyous Winterdays".  I don't have much left and I got the whole collection!!!   😲  This card was sooooo fun!!  For some reason it took awhile to come together but hey ... sometimes that's what being creative is all about right?  hee hee  Well, that's my excuse anyway.  😀

I CAN'T STOP WITH THE PENGUINS!!   Seems to be my theme this year.  LOL!  I suspect I'm not alone!  I've so enjoyed coloring them up and I don't think I'm done yet!!  ha ha ha!!  This little cutie is again a Whimsy image called "Penguin Christmas Sweetheart" which I've colored with my Copics.  How do you like the pom-pom on the hat?!!  ha ha ha!!  I love it!!  I've also added "MERRY" with the new Joy "Scrabble Stamp and Die" set.  This is a must have in your stash!!

Here I've made some more Foamiran flowers but I've used a poinsettia die that I had in my stash.  I shared this because I wanted to show you that you really can use any die with this foam.  I could only cut 2 layers at a time instead of 4 because the dies aren't as deep as others that are sold in the store but it still works.  So don't tell yourself you need to buy everything all at once.  Just start with a few sheets of foam and work your way into more foam .... and then more dies.  hee hee

I've used a few Scrapiniec pieces on my card and embossed both using VersaMark's "Dazzle" and ultra thick embossing powder.  In real life and up close there's a pretty shimmer on the tatting Christmas stars and mistletoe.

Ok!!!  On to more Christmas cards.  LOL!  I think this year I should  make it mandatory to complete 2 xmas cards a month.  Well.....I don't think I could do that.  There's way too many other pretty things out in the crafting world at other times of the year.  hee hee

Snowman Lighted Canvas

So....I don't claim to be a painting artist and in fact, this is only the second canvas I've ever made.  The first one at least had an instructor.  LOL!!  Thanks Cheri!!  I saw this on Pinterest and just HAD to have it but since no one else would make it for me, well ya so you know the rest.  ha ha ha!  I added some some snow texture at the bottom and even tho you can't see it, I've built up some piles and ridges of snow.

AND WHO DOESN'T LIKE A GLITTERED SNOWMAN!!

Here he is all lighted up.  He's actually not THAT see-through in real life.  Hindsight I would probably make the branches a bit lighter brown but again, you can see it better IRL.

YAY!!!  FINALLY SOMETHING FOR ME!!!!

I hope you like it!

December Noor! Design UK Challenge

WOW time sure flies doesn't it?!!  Feels like I was just posting November's challenge and now it's already December.  Although I do find November and December just zoom on by!!  Oh ya, the challenge:

ANYTHING GOES

Sometimes when I do a card without an image I feel like I'm cheating but it's a different kind of thing and I love it.   I've used Pion's latest collection called "Christmas Wishes".  I'm sure glad I don't have to come up with idea's of what to name things.  Can you image?!!  😲

As the focal piece I've used Scrapiniec's "Mistletoe Big Baubles"  and added some pearls that I had in my stash.  The sentiment came with the Pion collection so it makes it easy to incorporate them into your card.  Well, maybe I'm speaking for myself because I have a tough time adding sentiments on the front.  The front is for embellishing the crap out of as far as I'm concerned.  HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!

HOW CUTE IS THIS?!!  A reindeer paperclip!  Who would have thought?!!  I've also added a Joycraft "Lacey Cotton Heart" behind the paperclip and those are new to the shop.  Well actually almost all of this card is.  LOL!!

And also new to the shop, Joycraft "Burlap Artificial Flowers Cream" that I popped over top of Joy's "Happy Holidays Poinsettia" die.  I can't take credit for that design as I first saw it when one of my teammates, Emma, did it on one of her cards a few weeks ago.  Well obviously I liked it!!  LOL!!

Are you on overload now?  I've hit you up back to back with Christmas cards.  I hope you're getting ahead on them.  I'm kind of on pause right now but I better get my butt back in gear.  ha ha ha

Thanks for coming by again!

Penguin Warm Winter Wishes Take 2

I couldn't help myself!!  I made another card using this cute stamp - Whimsy's "Penguin Warm Winter Wishes".  These guys are just so cute!!!  Again, I also paired it up with papers from Maja Design's "Joyous Winterdays" collection.  Sooooo luvin' this collection!!!!  Shocker huh?  hee hee

These stars are AWESOME!!!  Studio Light's "Winter Feelings" die pack comes with a variety of some absolutely perfect stars for cards!!  Definitely my favorites right now!  There are some Scrapiniec chipboard pieces that I've first inked up and then added some gorgeous glitter to for some bling and pop.

Here are a few more stars for you and a few WOC flowers for my little bouquet.  AND ... what do you think of my little red peppers from JoyCraft??!!  LOL!!  Did you even really know that's what they are?  JUST FUN!

Here I've used a new Joy die called "Scalloped Edge die w/Flowers" - very pretty - and some more Scrapiniec chipboard that I've colored up called "Nordic Sweater Trees".  I like blue trees!!  LOL!!  That's one thing I really like about Christmas.  Any color goes!!!  There's nothing wrong with non-traditional colors and in fact, sometimes it's a nice change!

I still have my coupon to offer too people:

Whimsy Stamps Sarah

I do love me a traditional green and red colored Christmas card so for this one I started with picking papers from Maja's new collection "Joyous Winterdays".   As always, Maja has outdone themselves again!  The cute image is from Whimsy Stamps simply called "Sarah".

The Scrapiniec piece I've used here is "Mistletoe Star".  I colored it by simply applying my TH candied apple distress marker directly to the chipboard.  After I finished, for the green I added Ranger crackle accents and for the red I added some red Stickles to change it up a bit.  In the store there is a new set of Joy stamps called "Scrabble Stamp & Die" and that's what I've used to make up my JOY sentiment.  That set is FUN and I can tell already that I'll be using it quite a bit!

I've added a few Scrapiniec "Nordic Sweater Deer" that I added some TH gathered twigs ink to.  The chipboard is very easy to add color as it soaks it up just the right amount.  The lace is called "Aspire" but currently out of stock so if you're looking for it just email Tracy however, there are others in the shop you might be interested in.  😀

Here I've used Joy's "Winter Wishes Lantern" die and then added my usual bouquet of pretty flowers.  I love the new red and green 2-tone pomegranate apples that came into the shop.  They are soooo perfect for Christmas cards!  I've also added some Joycraft Berries into the mix, which are also new.

I still have my coupon to offer too people:

Penguin Warm Winter Wishes

Good day!!  Eeeeeeeeee I finally got my Maja Design "Joyous Winterdays" collection and have played just a little.  They are STUNNING and I can't wait to play some more.  I've used some Scrapiniec confetti stars and one teeny heart.  You HAVE to buy some of these!  (Or you could leave them all for me! 😀 ha ha ha!) They come on a sheets of 3 different sizes of stars and hearts.  What a perfect little embellie to add to any card.

I'm also excited to have received Joy's "Winter Wishes Birch Trees" die.  I have wanted something like this for years. Why haven't I bought any until now?  Wellllll, maybe I was waiting for just the right one.  LOL!  I also have the cutest deer from Fantasy wouldn't you say?

I stamped out MERRY using Joy's new Scrabble Stamp and Die set, distressed the edges and popped them onto a strip of Maja paper.  I've also been at it again making more Foamiran flowers.

I made so many this time I had leftovers!  I've used Whimsy's "Lily/Poinsettia" die as well as their latest "Christmas Branches" die set and OH MY!  There are soooo many amazing dies in this collection that it is just PERFECT to have in your stash.  I know I'll be getting lots of use out of this one!  I added a Prima wax bow, some berries and a gorgeous Scrapiniec tatting chipboard heart.  Oh those are amazing too!

Awwwwwwwwww!!!!  That's all I could think when I seen this adorable image from Whimsy called Penguin Warm Winter Wishes.  I've colored it up with my Copics and added some glitter on most of the fur.

That's all for me today!

My code for 10% off is still ongoing and there are a lot of sales in the store right now.

Relax With Wine

Good day!  Just wanted to share a card I made for my MIL's bday.  I've used some papers from my favorite collection of the year from Pion - Summer Falls into Autumn.  I'm pretty sure this is the last card I have to show you from that collection.  LOL!!  I've used some sunflowers from my stash that I bought from Magnolia-licious years ago.  So cute!

Isn't this little wine bottle adorable?!!  I have 4 and now I'm down to 1.  Dang I knew I should have bought more.  LOL!!

I decided to make a shaker card and add little wine glasses for the shakes.  LOL!!

This image is from Make It Crafty by Krista Smith called "Relax With Wine".  Don't mind if I do!  LOL!  Yes she is still doing a few things here and there so YAY for us!!

I've colored her with Copics and even drew in some marks on the table to make it look like a wood table.  I thought I was pretty clever with that seeing as I just learned it taking one of the courses from Kit & Clowder.  hee hee

Have a great week all!
Hugs!

Whimsy's Winter Friends

Good day and welcome back!!  Today I'm sharing Whimsy's UBER cute "Winter Friends" image paired with Pion's "The Night Before Christmas" papers.  Oh!!  And it would be rude of me not to mention that these papers are on SALE!!!  😀  If you're like me and you have a big list, making Christmas cards a bit more inexpensive is right up my ally!!  I've used this new gorgeous Joy "Merry Christmas" die at the top and at the bottom I added a layer of "Lace Margaret".

I took a sentiment from the Pion's border page in this collection and popped it up using some foam dots.  Also layered a vintage metal snowflake under a couple of Wild Orchid flowers.

I made a poinsettia using some burgundy Foamiran, Whimy's Lily/Poinsettia die, 2mm lemon teardrop stamen and Whimsy's Peony leaf die.

Well that's my share for this week!!  Thanks so much for stopping by today and I will be back next week with another Christmas card!  Yup imagine that!  LOL!!!  Tis the season right?  How are you making out with yours?

Wine Tasting Tilda

Hey guess what?!!  I'm back with some more papers from Pion's "Summer Falls into Autumn".  ha ha ha!  I may have mentioned that this has been my most favorite collection EVAH!!  😄  I've had this Joy "Butterfly Frame" in my stash that I am happy to say I FINALLY got to use!  I added some of Joy's "Vintage Flourishes Butterflies" over top for more dimension.  If you're liking that "Butterfly Frame" it's even on sale right now.  The little butterflies are not in stock any more but if you'd like them just sent Tracy an email.  She may be able to get them for you.

OH MY GOSH!!!  And you see that super cute wine bottle?  I had that in my stash for so long they're no longer in stock anymore but I just HAD to share it with you.  Again, if you like it, see if Tracy would be able get more in for you.  I attached a seam binding bow to it and added a few more flowers here and there that you can find in the store.  The green branches are a Fantasy die called "Small Branches".  There's also a bigger one that I sometimes mix together to change the look of my foliage.

Ooooo I just love these gorgeous sparkly pieces.  This is "Button Alexis" and it comes in 8 different colors.  I also added a layer of "Lace Aspire" and some more Wild Orchid flowers.

This is Magnolia's "Wine Tasting Tilda" that I've colored up using my Copics.  She's still in stock so a perfect little image to use for those wine luvin' friends!  Don't we all have at least one?  Or 2...maybe 3???  hee hee

Well there's my cute little card for this week.

Thank you so much for stopping by and I will be back again next week to share something other than my favorite Pion papers. HA HA HA HA!!
