Precious Post

HAPPY FRIDAY!!  This week at Live and Love Crafts we were inspired by the word "PRECIOUS"!  That word could be used for inspiring so many different cards but I knew exactly which papers to head to.  Off I went to Pion's "Sweet Baby" collection, including the images and made not just 1 but 2 cards.  I'm sure it was just as easy as making one!!  I'm gonna try this more often!  LOL!  The papers have some nice tags, which I topped off with a shabby bow.

I also covered the bottom layer with some cheesecloth.  It seems like using that adds more of a vintage feeling to anything.  I even added some very pretty tulle and laces on each card.
The big flower is from my stash of Prima and all my Wild Orchid Craft flowers are from LLC.  Oh and same with those gorgeous rolled roses.  If ever I was challenged to build a card without flowers I'm not so sure I could do it.  LOL!!  Oh WAIT!  Yes I could!  A masculine card - hee hee - but it would never look this pretty.  ha ha ha!!
I added a strip of the Pion baby paper (a tape measure) to a spool, then some pop dots and distressed the edges for both of these cards.  These butterflies are new to the LLC store and I've discovered that you can bend them for a little dimension so I lifted the wings and popped some lace behind some buttons.

Well I hope you've enjoyed my cards for the day! Have a great weekend!  I know I will as I'm heading off to a crop with some friends.  YAY to crafty time!  I hope you get some too!

Wow, Eulanda, you're rocking these vintage style cards. They're precious! Loving all the gorgeous details. I thought for sure you made those big flowers--just looks like something you would make yourself. Love the butterflies with the crocheted lace flowers.

What a great idea; one should always do this, sort of mass-production in style. :-) I was curious to see which card would score highest on Instagram...seems baby girls are more attractive than baby boys, or is it simply that everyone prefers pink?!

Hi Eulanda,
The cards are really lovely.Such lovely colours.
I wonder if you could answer a question for me. You did a card with "Old Truck" a red one.I saw it on Pinterest Dijit smiths.
I live in England and have looked everywhere for this stamp . I even sent to the USA for some stamps, but they were not that one. Can you help as to where I can buy this stamp please. Susi smortimer195@gmail.com
