Live & Love Crafts - Charms

This week we are playing with CHARMS!  It's such a teeny and easy embellishment you can add to any card and there are a TON of choices at LLC.

I had so much fun with this!!  You're gonna be shocked but I used Maja Design's "It's Christmas Time" papers.  hee hee!  They were actually just perfect for what I wanted to do.  I printed the bingo cards, Halloween flashcard and tickets from my Silhouette and distressed them all.  As much as it killed me to use such pretty lace for a Halloween card, "Empress Alexandra" (it's it gorgeous?!!) it just seemed to fit perfectly.  And a witch without her raven?  Well...ok, it's just a bird but for this card I'm pretending it's a raven.  LOL!  Oh and I found the image on Pinterest.

As you've seen in previous posts, this week we are showcasing some charms from LLC and yes, I did get this one from the store called "Ghost House".

A smaller Wild Orchid bouquet for me with some Kort and Godt rolled flowers.  I always add a Melissa Frances pearl in the center.  It just seems to finish it off so nicely.

I even managed to sneak a berry in there!  I used my caption maker to type the "SPELL" sentiment, painted the Studio Calico wood banner with some Tim Holtz distress crackle paint and then wrapped it in some dollar store webbing. How do you like the creepy skeleton cameo?  Found that on Ebay but I thought it fit rather nicely into LLC's oval frame pendant.  hee hee

I know lots of you don't celebrate Halloween but here in Canada we do.  Well...most people do.  I hide.  LOL!!  I have to admit, I'm sure this is the "prettiest" Halloween card I've ever made!!  It's nice to do something different sometimes so I hope you enjoyed this one as much as I did!

Hugs,
Eulanda

What do u mean you don't know how to make a vintage Halloween card? Looks stunning to me! It turned out really really cool, but at the same time, I think bc of the lace, it's the most elegant Halloween card I've ever seen!!! Truly inspiring without gore and stuff. Well done! Sandy xx
