MDUC #138 and CLP Sketch

I`m a bit short of time this month so I thought I would combine both the MDUC challenge and this month`s CLP sketch challenge and what a wonderful combo it turned out to be!!

This week at MDUC we are challenging you to use old treasure and recycle items such as corrugated cardboard, screws or whatever is unusual for your creation.  So you`re looking at mine thinking ok what has she used?

The ribbon is from a pair of laze around pants that I cut off because it was prettier to use for cards and I never tied it up anyway.  LOL!!  I tell you since the day I bought them I knew exactly where it was all going.  In my craft room!  LMBO!

Check out this gorgeous sketch!!  You still have 16 days left to enter this challenge for the month and who can`t use a sketch?!!

I just wanted to mention that I tried the Scandinavian way of coloring using Copics....yes Copics!!  I used Suzanne Dean`s tutorials and wow they were very very helpful!!  I also used Camilla and Kim for  inspiration so I had to hand out credit to those amazingly talented women.  I must say this is one of my favorite cards that I`ve made in awhile and I think that`s because I learned something new and it worked!!

I`m going to enter my card into the following challenges:

7 Kids College Fund - Anything Goes**
Deep Ocean Challenge blog - Butterflies**
Saturday Challenge - Doilies**

Only you would use ribbon from your pants on a card! Well, actually I would too, if I ever thought of it first, haha, too funny!!! Love this card, Tilda looks all lit up from above, and I love the banner and glitter you've used! I've seen some of Suzanne Dean's tutorials, but I think I might have to pin 'em so I can revisit later. Can't believe what a pinning freak I am! Hugs, Roxy.

You should be teaching Copic classes my friend as your coloring always blows me away. I try and try and I can't seen to get the highlights and shading to look somewhat like yours. Got any tips?

Another gorgeous creation with so many beautiful details. You definitely have a God given talent. "Hugs"

Gorgeous card! Love your embellishments and how you colored Tilda. I had to laugh at where you got your ribbon. I am the same way; I have used tags, shoelaces, buttons, fabric...basically, whatever I can find that looks cool!
