Awww She's Just CUTE!

When you are running low on ink in your favorite Copic you learn to use others, which I found out wasn't so bad!!  For grey I normally use C's but  my C1 was draining and very very white at the tip!  I really liked how my W's look when using greys tho.

So for a few challenges on this card:

Just Magnolia - "Goin' Dotty" which I thought was just perfect for a Valentine's card.

Magnolia Stamp Lovers - "Glitter" and although you can hardly see it, it's on all the lacy parts.  If you click on it to make it bigger, it's easier to see.
Friday Sketchers - "Sketch" another fabulous one!

Well unfortunately it will be another few days before I can post a Maggie but in the meantime, I'll be coloring up a storm!!  Enjoy your week!  Thanks for dropping by!

Stamps: Magnolia #374 "Ladybug Tilda"

Simply Betty Challenge #4

BLING IT ON!!

This week's challenge comes from a little girl who won a challenge at SBC during Christmas.  The prize was for Betty to create a custom digi image and so voila!!  Here it is and this digi is called Emmy.   Isn't she sweet?  So yes, the challenge is to use a SBS image and bring on the bling!!  Pearls, glitter, flowers, whatever you can think of to enhance your card.

Emmy and her mom got to join us this week so check out their cards, along with the other ladies on the DT at

Sorry I didn't get all the details put together for this card but I made it a week ago now.  LOL!!  If you're curious about anything, let me know.

I hope she enjoys it cuz it's on the way to her in the mail.  Things are always better to see in real life.

Oh and BTW - this was the 2nd card I ended up making.  The first one I took apart and was able to save my image (phew) cuz GOODNESS GRACIOUS IT WAS UGLY!!  Funny how 2 posts ago I was high 5'ing myself cuz I kicked butt on a card and was thrilled with it.  See?  It works both ways.  LMBO!!!

Just a quick post today and a card to show you which I am going to enter into
When I look at this card, if I had of seen it for the first time, I would probably have shrieked in that almost inaudible tone "OMG THAT IS SO CUTE!"

Oh c'mon we all do it!!  Every once in awhile you just sit back with that certain card that just makes you giggle with delight cuz "you did it"!  I'm not sure what "it" is but sometimes "it" shows up and "it" makes us feel really good.  LOL!!

Simply Betty Challenge #2

 Make It a Classic!

I am so excited to be the one who came up with this week's challenge at SBC!  I ♥ using black and white in my cards cuz there's just something kind of classy about it.  So this week's challenge has a bit of a twist.

Using a SBS image, make a black, white, optional silver Valentine's card using your choice of pink OR red, but not both, as your accent color.

This week's prize is Be Mine Paper Pack from Echo Park, which I think is absolutely adorable!!

Please see all the details at Simply Betty Challenges and also check out the amazing cards by the other DT members.

I used a sketch from Cheri's awesome stash and if you'd like to see more check out her free sketches at Graphicat Creations.   Feel free to use it for this challenge too if you like.

Dance With Me!

Good morning!!  So I am still having issues with my new software editing program but bear with me, I'm trying.  When I have it all looking gorgeous in my program, then upload it, you wouldn't believe how different they are.  And it looks fuzzy on my blog but not on my program.  WHAT?!  I don't get it.

Anyway, I'm entering this into 2 challenges today:

Sketch Saturday Week #135, of course for their sketch pictured below and a new one for me

Mad For Markers Monthly Challenge, which is Australia day and you can use red, white and blue or yellow and green but you HAVE to color with your Copics!!  I've chosen turquoise for the green and some lighter YG greens that look like yellow.   Not sure but am hoping this counts!

I have such a hard time with sentiments so I've replaced that one with my home made flower cut with my Silhouette.  Dang that thing is fun!!

I've used Babette from Kraftin Kimmie and I'd like to send a special thanks to a wonderful friend, Nancy Schaub, who sent me the stamps to borrow.  These images are so fun to color!

Stamps:  Kraftin' Kimmie's "Babette"
Paper:  Basic Grey "Marjolaine" paper
Embellishments: Tim Holtz's Trimmings - flowers (GORGEOUS!)
Punches: Misc feathers, brad is Basic Grey and Zva Creative adhesive pearls
Ink: Copics

Cute Card Thursday #146

I couldn't quite tell you if I remember where I got this image or not cuz I've never used it before.  For my "old" I've used Basic Grey's "Wisteria" paper and some Upsy Daisy Designs "Everlasting Beauty" paper.  Actually I've had a lot of these supplies around for over a year so I was happy to be using  them.

(Looks better if you click on the picture and enlarge it)

I made this for a local lady who is retiring from the post office after, I think it was 33 years.  WOW!  That's pretty incredible and commendable.

Challenges

***Upon suggestion, I am also adding this to Top Tip Tuesday's "Altered tins & Metal Mickey Challenge" which means use any metal embellies.  I have very little (my snaps in the lower r/h corner) but I've been advised that this counts!!  hee hee

This was a birthday card for Uncle Grant who's bday was Jan. 1st.  Can you imagine?  I don't like having my birthday in November but there are far worse days to have one.  hee hee

I'm entering this card in
Friday Sketchers #135 for their great sketch!!

And once again this is just a quick post.  If you want any details please let me know.  Sorry!
