DH's Birthday Card

Thank goodness my DH doesn't have my blog.  hee hee This way I can post as his birthday is tomorrow and here is his birthday card today!  I did my first side step card, which you can find instructions for here and check out other samples at Splitcoast Stampers Gallery using "side step" as your search description.

The grass is a Magnolia stamp (hee hee), the rocks are from a rock wall that I cut out from a Magnolia stamp, the trees are Stampin' Up "Lovely As A Tree" and the 4-wheeler is from CTMH (thanks Cheri!).  Oh and the sentiment if from SU also.  I'm very happy with how it turned out and thank goodness cuz it took me a long time!

Stamps:  Magnolia, CTMH & SU
Paper: Bazzill
Embellishments:  Scrapper's Floss, Misc brads and Maya Road chipboard stars covered with Crackle gloss and corkboard paper.
Punches:  OMG I didn't use even one punch on this!!  Oh wait!  The little circles under the brown brads was Quickutz.
Ink: Colored With Copics and Momento Ink

What a fab card. I have a hard time making cards for men. If you notice all my creations are very girly...heehee. You did such a great job on this card.

Once again words fail me. I love this card, Mike will too! Tell him happy birthday for us. How did you make it so light behind the grass? I can imagine this one took weeks to make, yes?

Have a great weekend.
