HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!

Ok so a few weeks ago I told you that I had made a very special card for my sister and that a lot of love went into that one. Well, here's another one that I made for my mom's birthday!! Love seeped and poured all over the place so I had to glue it in some spots!! LROL! Ok, it's hot and I'm thinking the heat may be getting to me a smidge. BUT I'M NOT COMPLAINING!
Wow this putting stuff on the inside of cards is crazy!! That's a big job so I applaud all you ladies who do it on a regular basis! It looks amazing!
I entered it for the Magnolia Homepage Yahoo Group monthly challenge so I am crossing my fingers and hoping that I win. I'd be so honored but there are so many good cards in the challenge that if I don't win, I'll just keep going back! HA HA YOU CAN'T STOP ME NOW! WOOOOO!

Best Fishes - Fishafella

I haven't used my bella's for awhile but thought this card would be perfect as a Best Wishes for a recovery & birthday card for a friend. I've used CTMH & Karen Foster paper and colored the image with Copics. Quite sure I don't have to type that anymore. LOL!! The punch is Martha Stewart and the buttons are CTMH as well.

All The Things I Love Blog Candy

Bev's up to her weekly give-a-way - ooh that must be tough but I think she has a good stash herself. This week Simon Says Stamp and Bev are giving away Magnolia Pink Tilda with Rose stamp used on her card. Check out her blog. Magnificent stuff!!

Bo Bunny Birthday Contest

I came across the Bo Bunny birthday challenge & sketch challenge but I think it was a 2-in-1 challenge not either or. So I may have done that wrong however, I ended up with a great birthday card!! LOL!!
The paper is Bo Bunny, the cupcake & sentiment is Inkadinkadoo, swirls are Quickutz using black glitter paper, Bo Bunny brads, Prima flowers and misc ribbon. The rest is a unknown. The frosting on the cupcake is 3-d and I put black beads for what I think, are liquorice pieces, on the top. (ya mom I had to look up how to spell it cuz lick-wish doesn't cut it - lol) I also put pink glitter for the frosting and glaze over the cupcake liner. I went over the "Hi Cupcake" sentiment with black Spica and it's quite glittering IRL.

Thanks for looking!!

Friday Sketchers Week 61

This post for Friday Sketchers challenge is very special to me and although I always put lots of love into all my cards, this was probably the most love I have EVER put into one. My twin sister is moving and I wanted to make her something very special. She is moving 1400kms away (over 850miles) and we have never been that far away from each other for more then a week (we're 37). OMG I already miss her!! We are so extremely close and I think we're both still in denial!! Oh yes and so is my mom. Thanks Jacqueline for the beautiful sketch. I really enjoyed the challenge as I'm sure this is the first time I have ever "OMG" cut the front half of my card!! LOL!

2 Challenges in 1 - Yay!

So yesterday I took a mere 4 hours to come up with this cutie patootie. Ya, only 4 - OMG!! Anyway, at least I got 2 challenges into it. The sketch from Magnolicious Highlites July Challenge and A Spoon Full of Sugar "Hearts" challenge. Love my new charms I got from The Hobby House but YIKES expensive. That's ok - I have enough to last me awhile now. LOVE THEM!!! Enjoy!

More pieces to follow and explanation of WHAT journal however, in the meantime I needed some inspiration. Just loved this sketch!! Papers once again Basic Grey, rub-on swirls from Glitz, Prima flowers, misc ribbon, Martha Stewart border punch, stickles and colored one of my favorite Magnolia stamps with Copics.

Sugar Bowl Challenge but not really

I can't believe I just did this!! I used the Sugar Bowl sketch with a Magnolia stamp. Guess I should have read the rules closer cuz to qualify it has to be a Sugar Nellie stamp!! ROTFLMAO!! Oh well, not a HUGE loss cuz I am making a journal and was stuck on this page anyway. The sketch was a great inspiration. The DP paper is Basic Grey and the HOPE stamp is from Scrappy Cat and a BIG thanks to my friend Sherry for sending this set to me. You have no idea what good timing that was and I'll show you why later. I used gold Spica pen to top the pie, glitter dust on her wings & slippers. The brown swirls are from Quickutz & sugar-coated with Stickles. The rub-on swirls are from Glitz design and flowers are from Prima. The border punch I borrowed from my mom and no mom, I'm not done with them yet. hee hee!
